A vital online resource for light rail safety professionals has been given a fresh new look as it continues to evolve to meet the needs of the sector.

Containing more than 60 guidance documents, the LRSSB’s Reference Library is now easier to navigate with a new layout making it easier to find information on a broad range of topics, from the design of crossings to effective fatigue management.

Located within the organisation’s Safety Hub portal, accessed through the LRSSB website, it also contains the organisation’s cornerstone Tramway Principles and Guidance document and a host of other important publications, including annual reports.

Carly Swift, Marketing and Digital Media Manager at the LRSSB commented: “As the library continues to grow, with new guidance being added all the time, this latest refresh sees a new layout that makes it even easier for colleagues to find the most up-to-date guidance on all aspects of light rail safety.”

The latest upgrades to the library are part of the ongoing evolution of the Safety Hub, which also includes useful videos, CIRAS reporting and Barbour legislation guidance, which can be accessed here.
